Design build project of an existing tri-level home in a Scottsdale neighborhood near Camelback Mountain. The architecture project includes modifying the main house envelope from an existing faux mansard angled roof to a flat and smooth stucco finish. The new stucco envelope acts as a rainscreen and is subtle yet bold in its volumetric presence with crisp metal trim around fenestrations and tight reveals between dissimilar materials. This modern house design features a wood and steel framed elevated outdoor deck that is fully roofed, and is ideal for entertaining and lounging in the backyard poolside.
