Currently in schematic design, Wash Bend is a new custom home set on a desert site in Cave Creek, Arizona. The single-story, four-bedroom, three-bath residence features low-slung rooflines with deep overhangs, an open great room and kitchen flowing to covered outdoor living, and a private bedroom wing. Perforated masonry screen walls filter the desert sun, casting shifting patterns of light while providing privacy and shade. A detached garage and carport volume echoes the main house, and the composition bends with the site — framing views of the surrounding wash and mountains beyond.
