Utilizing an integrated project delivery approach, E5 Design-Build practices a modern architectural style that prioritizes natural and sustainable materials in the buildings we work on. We make beautiful spaces for living in the American southwest.
In design-build construction, E5 Design-Build specializes in projects for accessory dwelling units (ADU, DADU), historic home renovations, modern house designs and commercial construction services.
As construction project consultants, we work with all of the stakeholders to manage the course of a construction project. We specialize in high-level worksite management and reporting from the field. We believe our work delivers a more thorough and complete project.

About the owner
Owner & Designer
Travis is originally from the Pacific Northwest and now lives in central Phoenix with his family. He got his start in construction at a young age, digging ditches for his father’s telecommunications company. He later began his professional career in demolition and quickly rose to lead a new office in Washington DC, where he built the company’s most successful branch through major projects and strong partnerships.
In 2014, he relocated to Arizona and entered the design-build industry. After gaining experience with local firms, he founded E5 Design-Build in 2020. The company holds a General Dual Residential and Light Commercial license in Arizona and is expanding into New Mexico, Nevada, and Colorado.
Travis brings a diverse background—from hands-on fieldwork and military service to business leadership and architectural design—which shapes his practical and creative approach to building. He is a United States Marine Corps veteran and holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Phoenix and a master’s in interior architecture from Arizona State University.
