Project Description

Residential architecture construction of a detached accessory dwelling unit (ADU, DADU) in the backyard of a historic 1920's bungalow located in the Historic Coronado neighborhood of downtown Phoenix. The interior spaces include a large utility and storage room, private bedroom, full bathroom and laundry suite, living room and kitchen. This modern house design addition creates a unique living experience with large windows, vaulted ceilings, exposed aggregate concrete floors and an architecture that is visually interesting. Being completely separate from the main house,“ADU for Mom” accommodates family visits and long stays in the rental market.
